• Papileo is Feininger’s nickname, used by his friends and family.
Feingener’s “Ghosties” were neither exhibited nor sold, but given away exclusively as gifts.
• Works by Lyonel Feingener are held in numerous major international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Centre Pompidou, Paris; the Städel Museum, Frankfurt am Main; and the Sprengel Museum, Hanover.

In good condition. The thin stationery has been folded several times. The edges are slightly creased, and the corners of the pages are slightly dented in places.
