• The Chapman brothers were part of the Young British Artists (YBAs) movement in London in the 1990s.
• As in this work, the artist duo draws on art-historical references in their work.
• First, one brother develops part of the work, then the other completes it.
• Other examples from this edition are held in the collections of the Tate Gallery, London, and the Museum of Modern Art, New York, among others
