• Jürgen Klauke's body of work is characterized by the exploration of new and radical forms of physical performance.
• Photographs from the series *Wackelkontakt* were on view in the 2010–11 exhibition “Jürgen Klauke: Ästhetische Paranoia” at the ZKM in Karlsruhe and the Museum der Moderne in Salzburg.
• Participant in Documenta 6 (1977) and 8 (1987); professor emeritus at the University of Essen and the Academy of Media Arts, Cologne.
• Works in public collections, including: Hall Collection, NY; Falckenberg Collection, Hamburg; Centre Pompidou, Paris; MoMA, NY; Goetz Collection, Munich; Helga de Alvear, Cáceres.
