• Lively and colorful work showcasing the virtuoso brushwork typical of Heimrad Prem's late work.
• Alongside HP Zimmer, Lothar Fischer, and Helmut Sturm, Prem co-founded the artist group “SPUR” in 1958, which was a working and living community that opposed the rigidity of the post-war period.
• Participated in the III. documenta in Kassel in 1964.
PROVENANCE: Private collection, Munich (acquired directly from the artist).

In good condition, colors in fine impression. Traces from the studio along the outer edges of the painting, rubbing and some slight loss of color, here and there tiny pinholes in the canvas. Isolated, small brownish spots. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
