Signed, dated "Jan. 1967 Paris", and titled on the reverse. Dated "6. - 11.I.67" on the stretcher. 92 x 92 cm (36.2 x 36.2 in).

• In 1967, Heinz Kreutz received a scholarship from the Cité internationale des arts in Paris.
• Through his intensive exploration of color as a medium, he developed his own color theories.
• Co-founder of the legendary artist group “Quadriga” with Otto Greis, Karl Otto Götz and Bernard Schultze.
• The comparable painting “blau - grün - gelb” (blue - green - yellow) is in the Ströher Collection, MKM Museum Küppersmühle für Moderne Kunst, Duisburg.
• 2023/2024 major retrospective at the MKM Museum Küppersmühle, Duisburg, and the Museum Penzberg - Sammlung Campendonk

In good condition. A tiny brown spot in the upper right corner. Isolated minimal spots of craquelure. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the aid of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
