• After moving from Berlin to Bavaria in 1960, she increasingly turned to wood as a material – the growth and grain of this natural product became an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Stomps.
• From March to June 2026, the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Cologne hosts the exhibition “Louise Stomps - Skultpuren und Zeichnungen - 1928-1988”.
