• One of the most idiosyncratic artists of his generation with a strong recognition factor.
• Jonathan Meese brings color onto the canvas as a sculptural mass.
• Our work is part of a group of works dedicated to historical figures, mythical characters, and the artist's own personality.
• In this context, he examines the role of power and art, and the failure of ideologies and revolutions.
• His solo exhibitions include shows at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich in 2018, the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna in 2017, and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in Copenhagen in 2007
