Pen and India ink drawing.
On thin laid paper. 12.7 x 20 cm (5 x 7.8 in), the full sheet.
Included: Wilhelm von Kobell, In Rom, etching. Signed, titled, and marked “aqua f” in the plate. On wove paper, 6.1 x 8.1 in. Sheet: 8.6 x 13.5 in. Literature: Monika Goedl-Roth, Wilhelm von Kobell Druckgraphik, Munich 1974, CR no. 48, with illustration (different copy).

PROVENANCE: Private collection Günther Förg.

The fine drawing has slight brown spots overall. There is a vertical crease in the center. There is a small defect in the paper at the bottom left (in the roof of the house to the right above the large bush) and a tear in the paper (along the edge of the roof of the large houses on the right).
The accompanying etching is overall browned.
