• In the 1920s, the impressive Davos landscape was one of the greatest sources of inspiration for Ernst Ludwig Kirchner's artistic work.
• Excellent provenance: from the collection of Swiss textile artist and Kirchner's close friend Lise Gujer (1893–1967).

Sketched Davos landscape panorama with a beautiful overall impression. Brownish discoloration in the lower right corner of the sheet and along the lower right edge. Slight crease marks in the margins. Slightly more pronounced crease marks in the lower left area. Small areas of paper loss and slight surface damage on the right and bottom edges of the sheet. Isolated spots of adhesion or studio marks in the upper right half of the image. Small residues of a previous mounting on the upper edge of the sheet on the reverse, the sheet is slightly faded on the recto.
