• Spontaneous sketch from Kirchner's “Brücke” period in Dresden.
• His interest in dance and movement, which was awakened in Dresden, would ultimately shape Kirchner's entire artistic oeuvre.
• Kirchner's drawings are often not preliminary sketches, but independent works with their own unique character born out of their spontaneity.

Fine overall impression. The left edge of the sheet is slightly irregular. Isolated, small foxing spots. Minimal soiling around the edges and corners of the sheet, slightly creased and with small crease marks, mainly in the upper right corner of the sheet. Individual isolated studio marks.
