• Künzel impressively models three-dimensional, relief-like paintings with a palette knife and brush, usually over a period of several months.
• His portrait heads and landscapes are created solely from his inner intention.
• The artist's works can be found in renowned institutions, including the Museum of Fine Arts in Leipzig, the Hypo-Vereinsbank collection in Munich, and the Deutsche Bank collection in Frankfurt am Main.

Collection of Prof. Dr. Manfred Pohlen and Dr. Margarethe Bautz-Holzherr, Marburg (acquired from the above in 1998).
In good condition. Mounted on a hardboard panel. In the impasto areas, slight craquelure in places. The outer edges of the painting show isolated slight damage. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
