• Erich Heckel, along with Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, and Fritz Bleyl, was a founding member of the Expressionist artists' association “Brücke” in 1905.
The work is listed in the Erich Heckel Estate, Hemmenhofen on Lake Constance. We are grateful to Ms. Renate Ebner for her kind support in cataloging this lot.
