Sheet 9 from the series "Jahrmarkt" comprising a total of ten sheets. Printed by Franz Hanfstaengl, Munich. Published by Marées Gesellschaft, R. Piper & Co., Munich 1922 (with the blindstamp, Lugt 5629) [AR].

PROVENANCE: Private collection Southern Germany.

LITERATURE: James Hofmaier, Max Beckmann. Catalogue raisonné of his prints, Bern 1990, vol. 2, no. 199 B a (of B b), here with a different title (illustration of a different copy).

In good condition. A small hole in the upper left corner of the sheet. Isolated small handling marks and creases. Along the lower edge of the sheet with a smoothed horizontal crease.
