Bronze, raw cast, partly painted, mounted on steel plinth.
Signed on both sides on the bottom of the sculpture. 36 x 40 x 19 cm (14.1 x 15.7 x 7.4 in).

• Vibrant and fascinating sculpture modeled on structures the artist found in nature.
• Cimiotti uses a casting process that does not allow for overlay castings, but for the targeted design of each individual sculpture.
• Cimiotti took part in documenta II in 1959 and documenta III in 1964.
• Other works by the artist are at, among others, the Sprengel Museum, Hanover and the Museum Ludwig, Cologne
.

PROVENANCE: Private collection North Rhine-Westphalia (acquired from the artist, ever since family-owned).
