Signed, dated "1982r", titled and inscribed in Cyrillic on a label on the reverse. Incl. frame: 82 x 62 x 6.5 cm (32.2 x 24.4 x 2.5 in).

• The examination of language and words is one of the main themes in the work of the Russian-American artist.
• She attracted international attention early on and had her first solo exhibition in New York in 1988.
• Her works are regularly shown in international museums, particularly in Western Europe, the USA and Australia.
• She participated in documenta 11 Kassel and the Biennials of Sydney (1992), Istanbul (1995), Johannesburg (1997), Lyon (1997) and Liverpool (1999)..

In good condition. The canvas folded back at the upper edge, however, presumably part of the work's nature. The frame slightly bumped in places and with minor damage on the left. Not unframed for cataloging.
