Lower right signed and dated. With the estate stamp of the Kunstmuseum Basel (Lugt 1570 b) and the ms. registration number "K Dre/Bf 1" on the reverse. On brownish paper. 35 x 44.6 cm (13.7 x 17.5 in), the full sheet. [JS].

• Between Dresden and Berlin: From the "Brücke" heyday.
• After the group had formed in Dresden in 1905, they developed the edgy "Brücke" style in painting and drawing sessions at the Moritzburg Lakes
.

PROVENANCE: German private collection.

In good condition. Slightly discolored, edges more obvious from mounting. Upper edge irregular. With faint isolated traces of rubbing and brownish spots. Corners skinned from mounting on the reverse.
