Accompanied by a photo expertise issued by Rainer Noeres, Otto Modersohn Museum, Fischerhude, dated June 13, 2003. The work is listed in Otto Modersohn's studio book 1937 under no. 74 with the title "Gespenst. Evening". We would like to thank Mr. Rainer Noeres for his kind expert advice and for adding latest information to the 2003 expertise.

In good condition. With isolated spots of subtle craquelure, mainly in the area of the sky. Minor retouched spots, predominantly along the edges of the image and the right half of the image. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of knowledge.
