Signed and dated on the still life on the reverse. 46 x 33 cm (18.1 x 12.9 in). [KA].

• Sacinating on both sodes: Portrait and fruit still life in a fauvist palette.
• From the artist's small oeuvre; two thirds of his works were destroyed in an air raid in 1943.
• The artist was in close contact with representatives of Modernism: the Blue Rider in Munich and the 'Brücke' in Berlin
.

PROVENANCE: Ever since family-owned.

In good condition. The canvas is nailed onto the reverse of the frame. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the use of a UV light source and to the best of our knowledge and belief.
