Verso monogrammed. 10.5 x 16.5 cm (4.1 x 6.4 in), the full sheet.
Postcard to Mr G. Leinhas / Hanover / Königswarther Str. 2, expressing appreciation for the first payment for the 1923 Kestner portfolio. Schnmidt-Rottluff used the money for a short trip to the Harz mountains. Gotthold Leinhas was co-owner of Rob. Leunis & Chapman GmbH Hanover, where the portfolio was printed the same year. "..Dank für den ersten Mamon aus der Kestnermapppe ! Wir sind für 14 Tage in den Harz gefahren um uns etwas zu erholen.."

• Artist postcard: The small drawing shows the village of Zorge in the Harz mountains, where Schmidt-Rottluff spent a few days with his wife.
• "Brücke" postacrds are very sought-after onn the international art market.
