On the cover of the publication. 18.7 x 13.8 cm (7.3 x 5.4 in). Wrapper: 26,5 x 18,9 cm (10,4 x 7,4 in).
The "Bildheft" No. 4 of the Graphisches Kabinett of I. B. Neumann (also J. B. Neumann) in Berlin from 1922 was dedicated to Erich Heckel and, in addition to the original woodcut on the title page, contained 15 pages with reproductions of 14 woodcuts and 1 etching. [JS].

PROVENANCE: Hermann Gerlinger Collection, Würzburg (acquired from: Bassenge in 1987, with the collector's stamp, Lugt 6032).

In good condition. Slightly soiled. Traces of creasing, compression and rubbing, primarily in the margins. A small tear at the upper binding, affecting all sheets of the booklet. Title woodcut with a few subtle, superficial traces of rubbing.
