Hofmaier 309. Signed, dated and inscribed "Handprobedruck". One of 3 known copies, of which 2 on this type of paper. On slightly structured industrial laid paper by Poensgen & Heyer-PH. Antique (with watermark). 25 x 31 cm (9.8 x 12.2 in). Sheet: 32,2 x 48 cm (12,6 x 18,8 in).

PROVENANCE: Private collection Southern Germany.

Hand-made trial proof in good condition. Slightly soiled and with traces of use and traces from the making, mainly in margins. Several stains in left and upper margin, presumably from the making. Upper right corner with a minimal creasemark. Left edge with a vertical folding mark.
