Lithograph.
Karsch 129 b (of b). Signed and inscribed by a hand other than that of the artist. From an edition of at least 50 copies on wove paper. On smooth creme wove paper. 21.9 x 17 cm (8.6 x 6.6 in). 42,5 x 34 cm (16,7 x 13,3 in).
In 1922 published by Fritz Gurlitt Verlag, Berlin. Later Galerie F. Möller took over several copies which they published as own edition with the title "Hindumädchen". [CH].
• Part of the same private collection for more than 50 years.
• Print with rich contrasts and an expressive line.
• Mueller plays with the perspective: Three female nudes shown in rear view, profile view and full-face, respectively

PROVENANCE: Johannes Henricus de Bois, Haarlem (with hand-written note).
Collection Heinrich Stinnes, Cologne.
Private collection (acquired in 1970 from Kornfeld und Klipstein, Bern).
Ever since family-owned.

Print with rich contrast, in good condition. With minimal mount staining, margins slightly wavy in places. Small isolated creases, mainly in margins. With small discolored spots outside the image and the mount section, presumably from a former mounting. With a small trace from the making in bottom margin.
