Mixed media on burlap with collaged metal parts.
Bottom left signed and dated. Twice signed and dated, as well as titled and inscribed "Paris" on the reverse. 100 x 100 cm (39.3 x 39.3 in).
• Ygael Tumarkin went to East Berlin in 1955/56 and worked at the Berliner Theater under Bertold Brecht.
• Ygael Tumarkin's works were part of the legendary exhibition "POST WAR" at the Munich 'Haus der Kunst', which was curated by Okwui Enwezor.
• Works by the artist from the 1960s realize top prices on the international art market.
• The artist is represented at, among others, the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna, Rome, and the MoMA, New York
