Watercolor.
Signed, dated and inscribed in lower left. Verso once more signed and titled. On firm paper. 39 x 52.5 cm (15.3 x 20.6 in), the full sheet.
From 1920 until the spring of 1921 Eberz and his wife spent some time in Assisi and the Gulf of Salerno, where this watercolor was presumably made. [CE].

We are grateful to Mr. Franz Josef Hamm, Limburg an der Lahn, for his kind support in cataloging this lot.

PROVENANCE: Private collection Lower Saxony.

In good condition. Upper left corner with a small split (ca. 10 mm). Margins with slight isolated handling creases. [CE]
