Cut-out, Metal, printed on both sides, on a metal plinth.
Plinth with the scratched signature as well as with the artist's name, the date, number and the publisher. From an edition of 35 copies. Height ca: 65 cm (25.5 in).

• In 1960, Alex Katz painted “The Black Dress” (Museum Brandhorst, Munich), the first time he had portrayed his wife Ada in six different poses in a black dress.
• The artist's famous metal cut-outs can be found in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum in New York, as well as the National Portrait Gallery in London.
• In 2022/23, the Guggenheim Museum dedicated a major retrospective to Alex Katz
