Portfoliowith graphics by Jean Fautrier accompanying texts by Jean Paulhan. 1 color etching on Japan paper (Le torse de la femme), reproductions of works by the artist on wove paper, and illustrations in the text. Loose sheets and double sheets in paper wrappers, with original cardboard cover in original cardboard slipcase.
Numbered in typography in the imprint. One of 204 copies on Marais wove paper (with watermark) from a total edition of 250 copies. Portfolio: 53 x 40.5 x 4.5 cm (20.8 x 15.9 x 1.7 in).

Altogether in good condition. Brown spots in places (especially on the reproductions), a few pages slightly browned and some with small creases and squashes. The cardboard cover and slipcase have minor soiling and signs of wear.
