Signed and dated in the middle of the snake. Ca. 250 x 90 x 70 cm (98.4 x 35.4 x 27.5 in). Metal plate: 90 x 90 cm (35,4 x 35,4 in).
One of a total of 12 sculptures from Elvira Bach's first sculpture project, “Die andere Eva” (The Other Eve). All 12 works were produced based on a prototype created by the artist, individually hand-painted, and are therefore considered unique pieces. [AR].
• Elvira Bach's colorful, large-format figure paintings celebrate a self-confident, emancipated type of woman.
• The artist's works are now represented in important collections, such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Deutsche Bank Collection, and the Städtische Galerie in Wolfsburg.
• Since 2001, the year “Grüne Mamba” was created, it has been in private ownership in South Germany.

In good condition. Slightly dusty with small adhesions and very minor paint flaking in places, but hardly noticeable overall. Small cracks in the top layer on the face and in other places, possibly due to manufacturing.
