Signed lower left. Dedicated "Meinem lieben Sohn Peter zum 28. Geburtstag von seinem Papa, 1951, New York, U.S.A." in the lower right. 65 x 47.5 cm (25.5 x 18.7 in). [AW].

PROVENANCE: Collection of Prof. Dr. Manfred Pohlen and Dr. Margarethe Bautz-Holzherr, Marburg.

In good condition. The outer edges of the leaves are rubbed and slightly damaged in places. There are three small missing areas at the top edge of the image. There are scratch marks in places, particularly in the upper part of the image. There are small retouches in places. The condition report was prepared in daylight and with the aid of a UV light source to the best of our knowledge and belief.
