Fritz Baumgartner

Fritz Baumgartner counts among the representatives of a new figurative painting. A style that is coined by its coloring is particularly characteristic works by the artist. The subjects seem to emerge in form of colorful structures from the dark foil of the background, thus they attain a unique spatial effect. The human figure is Fritz Baumgartner's preferred motif.
