Ebner/Gabelmann 908 L b (of b). Dube L 318 (II.). Signed, dated, titled, numbered and inscribed "Farbdruck". Fromm an edition of six copies. On fine wove paper. 22.3 x 22.3 cm (8.7 x 8.7 in). Sheet: 36,5 x 29,3 cm (14,7 x 11,6 in).

• From avery small edition of only six copies (hand-printed).
• This is the first time that a copy of this color lithograph is offered on the international auction market (source: artprice.com).
• After 1945 Heckel increasingly made flower still lifes, perhaps also as a sign of appreciation for the fertile soil on Lake Constance in the dire times after the war.
• After WWII, Erich Heckel pursued his artistic path. The year this work was made, Erich Heckel had his first solo show after the war in Hamburg
