• In his abstract paintings composed of dabs of colors - his unmistakable trademark - Gonschior examines nature and substance of the color - physically, optical, conceptually.
• Gonschior celebrates the colors' intrinsic value by putting them in subtle contrasts.
• Gosschior was represented by Galerie m, Bochum, as of the early 1970. In 1977 he showed works at documenta 6.
•- In 2008 the MKM Museum Küppersmühle, Duisburg, honored him with a grand solo show.

In very good condition, with fresh colors. The condition report was compiled in daylight with the help of an ultraviolet light and to the best of knowledge.
